The Annual Sports Meet 2025 at IQ City Institute of Nursing Sciences, Durgapur, held on 27th & 28th January 2025 at the IQ City sports ground, was a spectacular display of sportsmanship and teamwork. The event was graced by Chief Guest Mrs. Sima Dutta Chatterjee (winner of numerous international powerlifting medals), Principal, Prof. Dr. B. Camala, other distinguished guests, esteemed faculty members, and an enthusiastic gathering of students.
Outdoor events, held over two action-packed days, transformed the campus into a vibrant arena. The competitions featured 100m, 200m & 800m races, relay race, sack race, snake race, javelin throw, discus throw, shot put, kabaddi, tug of war, march past, Go-As-You-Like, and sports events for faculty members. A Food Stall Competition between houses added creativity and flavor to the event.
Prior to the main event, exciting Indoor competitions in carrom, ludo, chess, and block puzzle games were held on the 21st, 22nd & 24th of January, showcasing strategic thinking and precision.
The prize distribution ceremony celebrated our champions, marking a fitting conclusion to an inspiring and spirited competition.
This blend of indoor strategy and outdoor dynamism not only highlights our commitment to sporting excellence but also reinforces our belief in a well-rounded, co-curricular experience.
