ANNUAL CULTURAL PROGRAMME “FUSION FIESTA” 2025

VENUE: IQ CITY INSTITUTE OF NURSING SCEINCES

DATE: 29TH & 30TH January (Off stage) and 31st January (On stage)

IQ City Institute of Nursing Sciences has celebrated its annual cultural programme “Fusion Fiesta” on 29th, 30th and 31st of January, 2025. It was organized by the students and cultural committee with the aim of showcasing the diverse talents of our students and promoting cultural awareness. The program was conducted on the theme of Southern Indian culture (Tamil Nadu), Northern Indian Culture (Uttar Pradesh), Western Indian Culture ( Maharashtra) and Eastern Indian Culture ( West Bengal).

Day1 – (29/01/2025)

The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. B. Camala, the Principal of our college along with Mrs. Dyna V J, Nursing Superintendent of IQ City Medical College and Hospital followed by a speech of Principal mam.

A series of events like pencil sketches, drawing, rangoli and floor decoration competitions were held amongst the students.

Day 2 –(30/01/2025)

This day is featured by events like quizzes competition, recitation, extempore speech and a fashion show of Best of waste where the students showcase their hidden talents.

Day 3_-(31/01/2925)

On this day, the program was inaugurated with the Chief Guest, Dr. Neerja Shastri, Principal of IQ City Medical College and hospital and Guest of Honour with Ms. Sarita Mohanty, Deputy GM-HR head of IQ City Medical College and Hospital.

Competition in cultural events such as solo song, group song, solo dance, group dance and personality contest were held which was judged by Mr. Gautam Dutta , Mrs Rumela Sur and Dr. Neerja Shastri respectively. The event concluded with the distribution of awards to winners of various competitions followed by DJ night.

Participants and Audience

Over 450 students actively participated in the cultural program. The event was attended by faculty members, staff and a large audience of students all of which enjoyed the range of activities.

The participants from students highlighted the enthusiasm and creativity present within the college.

Conclusion

The college cultural program of January, 2025 successfully met its objectives by creating a platform for students to explore and exhibit their talent. It promoted a sense of cultural unity and encouraged active participation.
