World Hepatitis Day

World Hepatitis Day was celebrated on July 28th at SD Hospital, OPD, with the theme "Let's Break It Down". The program commenced at 10:00 am with the felicitation of SD Hospital's DNS, NS, and Medical Superintendent, who were presented with a sapling. This was followed by a thought-provoking role play on hepatitis B infection and prevention, highlighting the ways people get infected and how to prevent it. A comprehensive health talk on hepatitis B was delivered, providing valuable insights on the disease. The event concluded with a light refreshment session, offering attendees an opportunity to engage with healthcare professionals. The celebration aimed to educate individuals about hepatitis B, its transmission, and prevention strategies, emphasizing the importance of breaking the chain of infection.
