World Diabetes Day 2025: IQ City Institute of Nursing Sciences Promotes Awareness at Jemua

November 19th marked the celebration of World Diabetes Day at Jemua ICDS Health Centre with the theme “Diabetes Across Life Stages.” The programme began at 10:00 AM with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony conducted by the faculties of IQ City and ICDS staff, symbolizing awareness and hope in the fight against diabetes.

A captivating role play was presented by 5th-semester students, highlighting the signs and symptoms of diabetes mellitus in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner. This was followed by an informative health talk covering the causes, risk factors, prevention strategies, and management of diabetes mellitus across different age groups.

The event concluded with a light refreshment session, offering attendees an opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals and clarify their doubts. The celebration successfully raised awareness about diabetes prevention and management, emphasizing the importance of early detection and healthy lifestyle choices at every stage of life.
