World AIDS Day

The IQ City Institute of Nursing Sciences, Durgapur, organized a World AIDS Day program on 8th December 2025 (Monday) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ground Floor, IQINS. The event was themed “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response”. Program Details Inaugural Session: The session marked the commencement of the awareness activities, focusing on the global AIDS response and its challenges. Poster Making Competition: Students participated in a poster competition to showcase creative expressions of AIDS awareness and prevention. Objectives

1. Educate participants about HIV/AIDS prevention and stigma reduction.
2. Highlight the importance of resilient healthcare systems in managing AIDS.
3. Encourage youth involvement in transforming the AIDS response through awareness activities.

Outcomes The event successfully promoted awareness about HIV/AIDS, emphasized community support, and inspired students to engage in health advocacy. The poster competition showcased innovative ideas for spreading prevention messages.
