ANNUAL CULTURAL PROGRAMME “FUSION FIESTA” 2025

VENUE: IQ CITY INSTITUTE OF NURSING SCIENCES DATE: 29^TH & 30^TH January (Off stage) and 31^st January (On stage) IQ City Institute of Nursing Sciences celebrated its annual cultural programme “Fusion Fiesta” on 29^th, 30^th and 31^st January, 2025. It was organized by the students and cultural committee with the aim of showcasing the diverse talents of our students and promoting cultural awareness. The programme was conducted on the theme of Southern Indian culture (Tamil Nadu), Northern Indian culture (Uttar Pradesh), Western Indian culture (Maharashtra) and Eastern Indian culture (West Bengal). Day 1 – (29/01/2025) The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. B. Camala, the Principal of our college, along with Mrs. Dyna V J, Nursing Superintendent of IQ City Medical College and Hospital, followed by a speech from the Principal. A series of events like pencil sketching, drawing, rangoli and floor decoration competitions were held amongst the students. Day 2 – (30/01/2025) This day featured events like a quiz competition, recitation, extempore speech and a “Best of Waste” fashion show, where the students showcased their hidden talents. Day 3 – (31/01/2025) On this day, the programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Neerja Shastri, Principal of IQ City Medical College and Hospital, and Guest of Honour Ms. Sarita Mohanty, Deputy GM-HR Head of IQ City Medical College and Hospital. Competitions in cultural events such as solo song, group song, solo dance, group dance and a personality contest were held, judged by Mr. Gautam Dutta, Mrs. Rumela Sur and Dr. Neerja Shastri respectively. The event concluded with the distribution of awards to the winners of various competitions, followed by a DJ night. Participants and Audience Over 450 students actively participated in the cultural programme. The event was attended by faculty members, staff and a large audience of students, all of whom enjoyed the range of activities. The participating students showcased great enthusiasm and creativity throughout the college. Conclusion The college cultural programme of January 2025 successfully met its objectives by creating a platform for students to explore and exhibit their talent. It promoted a sense of cultural unity and encouraged active participation.
