World AIDS 2022

World AIDS Day gives a great opportunity to all of us to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS, end discrimination against high-risk groups, and provide support to the affected population. This year’s World AIDS Day 2022 theme is “EQUALIZE.” On this occasion, the IQ CITY INSTITUTE OF NURSING SCIENCES, in Durgapur had organised various HIV/AIDS awareness activities with the active involvement of faculty and students. The red ribbon is the international symbol for awareness and support for people living with HIV/AIDS. Faculty and students at IQINS pinned the red ribbon to Prof. Dr. Jeyadeepa (Principal, IQ City Institute of Nursing Sciences), followed by unveiled the theme of World AIDS Day 2022. All the students, faculty, and staff members wore red ribbons to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS. All students of BSc Nursing 4th year and faculty members actively participated in the social awareness rally. The students carried posters and banners, raised awareness slogans, and walked from Laudoha BPHC to Ruidas Para Road BPHC to raise HIV/AIDS awareness among the general public.
