IQ City Institute of Nursing Sciences organises freshers’ day every year to create an opportunity for the new batch of students to mingle with the seniors. At the same time they are given the opportunity to show their talents to faculty and their fellow students. This year, the freshers’ day “NOVATO FIESTA 2022” for 2021 – 2022 academic year was celebrated on 28.3.2022 for M.Sc, B.Sc and GNM students.
The program started with the traditional welcome dance and song by the senior students at 9am. Prinicpal Dr Jeyadeepa R lit the lamp and delivered welcome address to the new batch. The senior students had organised various cultural programs for their juniors. The students of the new batch also had actively participated and expressed their talents.
There was a Miss Fresher competition for B.SC and GNM. All the freshers had participated enthusiastically. Ms Writuparna Battacharya won the miss fresher crown for B.Sc 2021 batch and Ms Raima Banerjee won the crown for GNM 2021 batch. With few words of vote of thanks the program came to an end at 5.30pm.
